We work closely and regularly with the clinicians at the Animal Emergency Clinic and will be able to get all records from them and provide appropriate follow-up care for your pet.

Appointments

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases will always receive top priority which is why occasional appointment delays can result. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each patient on time.  We also strongly believe that each patient should get ample time to have all questions and concerns addressed.  We appreciate your patience and assure you that you will be given as much time and attention as necessary during your appointment.

For your convenience, drop-off appointments are available. A "drop off" means you could bring your pet at the time that works best for you and leave him/her with us for a portion of the day. Usually we will ask you to drop off sometime in the morning so that we can examine the patient in between appointments or at the time reserved for admitted patients. Once the doctor is finished examining your pet, we will give you a call to go over the diagnosis, to come up with a plan and to help you with any discharge instructions.

Patient Arrival

For the safety of all animals in our care we require that all vaccinations be up to date.

For your protection and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the lobby and exam rooms. All cats must be in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash.  Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings, or other pets. This is one of the reasons we ask you to restrain your pet. We recommend that animals be placed on a leash or in pet carriers before entering the lobby.

Financial Information

In order to keep the cost of veterinary care as affordable as possible, we ask that payment be made at the time services are performed. For your convenience we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, personal check, and cash.
